O God,
please grant us the wisdom to
see through the many lies that modern
society lives in.
Let us understand that value, REAL value,
has nothing whatsoever to do with
a greasy hamburger served with fries and
a large Coke.
Let us get past the stupidity of the
shuck and jive Madison Avenue pimps;
let us see through the lies and find
the values, the real values, that can only be
understood if we value ourselves,
and what's really important.
Open our eyes, O Lord.
